Samsung Galaxy Tab tablets are the first major release since Apple launched the iPad around a few months ago. Galaxy Tab originally appeared with the worst in technology until finally unveiled at the IFA Berlin show back end as the first major Android release tablet, holding a heavy responsibility on its shoulders.

With a tidal wave about to sweep the tablets Android through the world of technology, perhaps that if Galaxy Tab disappointing, it could damage the perception that Android will be able to top iPad tablet on features and performance.

The price certainly suggests that Samsung believes Tab Galaxy to topple Apple iPad tablet from the tower. 16GB model costs £ 530, which is £ 100 more than the Wi-Fi only version of the iPad. However, exactly the same price as the cheapest 3G iPad, a clear chance. This pricing strategy a bit surprising – tablets Android will be far more interesting if a bit cheaper than the iPad.
